Jerry Yan and Rainie Yang for Fated To Love You Sequel

Nothing is confirmed but the management companies of both actors have been contacted by SETTV. “Fated to Love You” was a massive ratings success for the network back in 2008. They hope to recreate the same magic again with its sequel “醉後決定愛上你 (Drunken to Love You)” next year. As you might have heard already, SETTV has been in a slump (idol drama-wise) for most of this year ever since “Autumn’s Concerto” went off the air.

“Fated to Love You” director Chen Ming Zhang worked on many of the network’s biggest hits including “The Prince Who Turns into a Frog” and “My Lucky Star”. He moved on to direct more hit dramas for the mainland network HunanTV, but is now in hot water after the explosion accident on the set of his latest, “My Date with Spring”. Chen returned to Taiwan after the production team was disassembled. However, he has yet to answer any questions concerning the accident other than updating his blog. SETTV had wanted him to direct the sequel to “Fated” all along, but he originally turned it down due to scheduling conflicts. Now that “Spring” is on hold, he is rumored to be returning to SETTV to direct Drunken to Love You.

Many are awaiting Rainie Yang’s next drama after her big win at the Golden Bell last month. Her manager confirmed they have indeed received an offer but have yet to discuss any details. Jerry Yan’s manager said they are only in the early stages of contact. They haven’t decided on whether they will accept the role.

 uhm.. why not let Ethan Ruan and Joe Chen to have this project?? anyway, they were the lead actors of fated to love you..haha.. LOL... ( just like Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin of Its Started With A kiss who also starred in  They Kiss Again ( or the Sequel of ISWAK)..

F4 will reunite for CCTV Spring Festival Gala 2011??

The Year of the Rabbit isn’t until February of 2011, but there are already rumors of who will be performing at next year’s CCTV Spring Festival Gala. The Chinese New Year extravaganza is watched by a billion viewers every year. Stars that are lucky enough to be invited often get a major career boost after appearing on the show.

Back in January, 80s Taiwanese boygroup The Little Tigers reunited for a special performance in the gala. Their surprise reunion was not only a huge hit with the audience, but also with concert organizers. Offers made to the group reportedly had a 30% price increase.

Although F4 hasn’t been around as long as the “Tigers”, they will be celebrating their tenth year in 2011. Viewers sure won’t mind seeing them on TV, and fans are apparently starting a petition in hopes they will reunite for a 10-year anniversary concert. F4’s manager didn’t deny about receiving an offer from CCTV, but said they are awaiting more details. The managers for each member will be returning to Taiwan in a few days, so they hope to begin negotiations on working out their schedules first.

It doesn’t seem extremely difficult to bring Vic Chou, Ken Chu and Van Ness Wu together, but Jerry Yan’s status is still up in the air. He hasn’t been in the best of health lately, and he might have a busy movie-filming schedule on the way. The rest of F4 are currently preoccupied with their own activities – Vic Chou is filming his new drama “回家 (Returning Home)”, Van Ness Wu is about to begin work on Material Queen, and Ken Chu is busy with blogging. The poetic blogger recently posted some lyrics that he wrote himself:

“By now, what else needs to be proven. Your departure, it has buried my heart. Let me cry, let my tears wash away my sadness…”

Many fans believed he was in fact writing about his recent break up with actress Kelly Lin. However, his manager denied it saying, “It was written during his free time in between filming. It’s nothing special.”

VIC ZHOU WON'T ATTEND BARBIE HSU'S WEDDING????

Looks like Barbie Hsu’s ex lover, Vic Chou, is not giving her his blessings.

The former member of Taiwanese boyband F4 had refused to comment on Barbie’s wedding when he was bombarded by the press at the Taiwan airport earlier this week.

Vic and Barbie had met on the set of Meteor Garden in 2001 and dated for over two years since July 2005.

When asked if he had any message or words of blessing for Barbie, the seemingly annoyed Vic merely said thank you and scurried off without addressing the press.

It was reported that Vic was filming his show Returning Home in the same building in Shanghai as Barbie, who was there to film her movie. But the two had not crossed paths despite the proximity.

Sources have confirmed that Barbie and Xiaofei’s wedding will be held in Sanya, Hainan Island in China between March 27 and 29 next year, though their mothers and Barbie’s assistant have yet to confirm the news.

ok… hello.. good day..

anyway… i’m an avid fan of vic zhou ( Zhou Yu Min), everytime i surf the net.. I always.. search his name..so that i could be updated..

so… here are some information about him….

His Chinese name is : Zhou Yu Min

His English name is: Vic Zhou

His Nickname is: Zaizai.( this was given by his grandmother.. which means.. little child)

He was born on :June 09,1981. ( we have the same birth month..)(and he’s 11  years and 20 days older than me..)

He’s parents separated when he was still young.. so his mother was the one who raised him and his older brother..

He studied at:

          Department of Industrial Management,China University of Technology Chung Kuo Institute of       Technology
          Department of Machinery,National LoTung Industrial Vocational High School

(he was not able to finish his course because of his hectic schedule and he can’t focus on his studies because.. sometimes.. girls from that school usually went to his classroom..)

he was discovered when he accompanied his friend auditioning for Meteor Garden.,while he was waiting for his friend, one of the staffs saw him and realized that he suits one of the roles of F4 (Hua Tze Lei) being a silent type of guy.

at first he was hesitating to accept the offer because his friend might be disappointed but later he still accepted the role, and that’s the first time he appeared on TV.

after, his appearance on MG, he receives lots of offers.. he was also able to release his first album entitled “make a wish”being the first to release among the F4 members.

after MG, he appeared in other taiwanese series such as : Poor Prince (Shan Tian Tai Lang, a poor guy);Meteor Rain( Hua Tze Lei— but he was not able to shoot his own chapter because he was so busy and was doing another series.);Come To My Place ( I haven’t watched it..sorry..);Meteor Garden 2( as Hua Tze Lei.. this is the sequel of MG and this time.. he had lots of moments with sanchai); Lovestorm (Lu Ying Feng); Mars ( Chen Ling— he played as twins in this series,  with his co-star Barbie Xu);Silence (Qi Wei Yi- as a lonely business man);Sweet Relationship(Fang Zhi Tian— a good chef); wish to see you again ( Xu Le— a famous writer who was looking for his lost inspiration) Black and White ( Chen Zai Tian— a policeman); Last night with madam Chin (Sheng Yu Rue — i haven’t watched it..)

hmmm… he has also done movies like Linger,Butterfly,Tea Fight ( japanese movie—he’s not the lead actor) and Love You Ten Thousand Years.

He had five girlfriends in the past.. one of his girlfriend was Xu Wei Lun ( one of the casts of lovestorm.. she died on January 28,2007 due to a car accident) and december 2007, he and barbie broke up after two years and a half of relationship..
